ekai is a product of IDX Studios Inc., 38 Smithe Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. By using ekai you agree to these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and the courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction.

ekai is an AI chief of staff. It reads across your email, calendar, meetings, and chat, prepares decisions with the context attached, and stages the touchpoints that need you.

You make every call. ekai does not send, commit, or act on your behalf without your instruction. Its output is preparation, not advice, and you remain responsible for the decisions you take.

The trial is free and scoped to one meeting, plus a single read of your calendar when you open your results. It does not create a standing connection to your accounts.

By submitting a meeting link you confirm that you are entitled to have a note taker present in that meeting, and that participants can see that ekai has joined. You are responsible for meeting the recording and notice rules that apply where you and your participants are.

Hosted plans are billed per seat, monthly, in advance. You can cancel at any time and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. We do not refund part months.

Prices are stated on the pricing section of this site. If a price changes we will tell you before it applies to you. Fees are exclusive of taxes.

Deploying ekai inside your own cloud is arranged directly with our team and is governed by a separate signed agreement. Where that agreement and these terms disagree, that agreement wins.

ekai does not deploy from a command line. Deployment is set up with the ekai team.

You own your data. We claim no rights in it, we do not sell it, and we never use it to train a generalized model.

On a deployed ekai your data never leaves your cloud. On the hosted trial it is processed on our infrastructure and then deleted. The privacy policy sets out the detail.

While using ekai you agree not to do the following.

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source of the service.
• Resell, sublicense, or run ekai as a service on behalf of an unaffiliated third party without our written agreement.
• Use the service to build or benchmark a competing product.
• Use the service unlawfully, or in a way that breaks the recording or privacy rules that apply to you.
• Interfere with the integrity or performance of the service, or attempt to gain access you were not granted.

We retain all rights in the service and its documentation. Nothing in these terms transfers those rights to you.

If you send us feedback or suggestions we may use them freely to improve ekai, without obligation to you and without any claim on your underlying data.

We may suspend access without prior notice where there is a significant data security risk, or where we reasonably suspect a breach of these terms. We will tell you why, and we will restore access once the cause is resolved.

The hosted service is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months before the first incident giving rise to that claim. Where you pay nothing, as on the free trial, that amount is nil.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost business, or lost data.

You can stop using ekai at any time. On termination you have 30 days to retrieve your data from the hosted service, after which it is permanently deleted.

On a deployed ekai there is nothing for us to delete. You tear down the deployment and the context goes with it.

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is material we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use ekai after that means you accept the change.
